摘要: Abstract Over the course of coevolution, plants have acquired a number mechanisms to adaptively respond wide variety microbes including pathogens and mutualists that affect plant fitness. Although widely recognized as central regulator in adaptation abiotic stresses well growth development, abscisic acid (ABA) also acts key modulator responses microbes. Effects ABA on plant-pathogen interactions differ depending stages modes pathogen infection, but many cases negatively regulates immunity. This is reflected by fact some produce their own or induce accumulation infected promote infection. In mutualistic plant-microbe interactions, generally promotes colonization arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi suppresses rhizobia. interacts antagonistically synergistically with multiple signaling components regulate mutualists, jasmonic acid, ethylene, salicylic gibberellin, cytokinin mitogen-activated protein kinases. network likely enables integrate ABA-regulated stress developmental processes into for optimizing this chapter, I review current understanding ABA-mediated modulation pathogenic illuminate underlying focus crosstalk between other components.
