摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the protective capacity 130 kDa Dicrocoelium dendriticum protein in hamsters experimentally infected with parasite. Forty divided into four groups ten animals each were used: G1 (control), G2 (infected), G3 (immunized Freund’s adjuvant and infected), G4 (130 vaccinated + infected). Infection 40 metacercariae/hamster carried out 4 weeks after last immunization. Parasitological studies [number eggs per gram (epg) worm burden] biochemical parameters (total proteins, albumin, total bilirubin), hepatic enzymes [aspartate aminotransferase (AST) alanine (ALT)], IgG levels determined. A reduction epg observed 16 postinfection higher percentage latter (25.2%). No statistically significant differences detected number recovered worms among groups, although mean slightly less (12.2±2.08, mean±SE) than (15.4±2.90). In G4, global protection 20.9% an increase AST ALT observed. Total similar three groups. obtained inadequate, so antigen dose, immunization–infection period, adjuvants, immunization route must be optimized.
