摘要: Diseases of the lacrimal system are optimally evaluated by dacryocystography, CT, MR imaging, and nuclear scintigraphy. Dacryocystography is selected to define lumen drainage in inflammatory disease (dacryocystitis), dacryoceles, dacryoliths, developmental abnormalities. provides supplemental information benign malignant tumors, principally differentiate an intrinsic lesion from extrinsic lesion. CT indicated for delineation palpable mass lesions such as cysts, diseases, especially paranasal sinuses, affecting apparatus secondarily. imaging has limited application but useful fluid solid masses within sac tumor extension into duct anatomic regions outside duct. with gadolinium enhancement should be used suspected tumors separate a cyst mass. Radiologic methods fail identify histopathology tumors. Nuclear scintigraphy helpful patients epiphora no demonstrable abnormality on dacryocystography.
