摘要: The formation of solid deposits on the cathode surface is problematic for performance electrolysis cell (cathode voltage drop, stability, life). Furthermore, its mechanism still not well understood. Although alumina feeding tightly controlled in industrial cells, observed at interface between block and aluminum. In order to understand mechanisms reduce occurrence deposits, many samples taken from different positions were analyzed both laboratory cells. effect rate impact a thermal gradient composition also evaluated. analysis experimental demonstrated concentration Al2O3 AlF3 within implying variation liquidus temperature deposit. This study provides insight into responsible surface.
