摘要: Results of a study are described in which in-situ and remote sensing instrumentation considered for accommodation on airborne platforms capable reaching stratospheric altitudes. The measures trace species importance to present concerns regarding pollution possible ozone depletion. examined were the U-2, modified balloon, rocket, F-15 flown zoom-climb maneuver, YF-12, remotely piloted vehicle (RPV). sensors performance characteristics special problems sensor-platform integration discussed. A typical latitudinal sampling mission is utilized describe platform logistics how might perform such missions.
