摘要: Super-monodispersed oil-in-water (O/W) microspheres (MS) were produced using a microchannel (MC) emulsification technique. To investigate the effect of surfactant on behavior O/W-MS formation, MS size and its distribution, various surfactants used for MC process. An plate with 8.9 μm equivalent diameter was employed. It found that super-monodispersed production depends type used. When nonionic anionic used, supermonodispersed produced, average droplet about 30 standard deviation less than 1 μm. For cationic surfactants, not successful, especially case where hydrophobic dissolved in oil phase. The results indicated it is very important to maintain hydrophilicity surface during considered hydrophilic group repulsed from negatively charged so maintained. Otherwise, adsorption positively occurred which improved wetting deteriorated analysis supported by contact angle measurement.
