摘要: Acupuncture and electroacupuncture are used in pain relief; however, the mechanism underlying analgesic effect of acupuncture is unclear. Several lines evidence propose that periaqueductal gray (PAG), which one regions contributes to endogenous inhibitory system, involved acupuncture, region receives several neural projections such as histamine noradrenalin contains dopamine cell bodies. The current study examined effects at Zusanli (ST36) Shangjuxu (ST37) acupoints, for clinical control, on release neurotransmitters PAG rats. Histamine was increased after stimulus, while changes were completely abolished by electroacupuncture. Pain stimulus had no release, but its release. These findings indicate exerts an antinociceptive via activation neurons histaminergic, dopaminergic, noradrenalinergic systems related electroacupuncture-induced relief.
