摘要: Biological thiol compounds are classified into high-molecular-mass protein thiols and low-molecular-mass free thiols. Endogenous compounds, namely, reduced glutathione (GSH) its corresponding disulfide, disulfide (GSSG), very important molecules that participate in a variety of physiological pathological processes. GSH plays an essential role protecting cells from oxidative nitrosative stress GSSG can be converted the form by action reductase. Measurement is useful indicator disease risk. Many publications have reported successful determination biological samples. In this article, we review newly developed techniques, such as liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry tandem spectrometry, for identifying bound to proteins, or localizing forms at specific sites organs cellular locations.
