摘要: Abstract Spectral responses in eight wavebands (three visible, two near-IR, mid-IR, and one thermal IR) were measured by repetitively traversing a radiometer over several rows of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.). After an initial measurement, the stems row (which had previously been tied to wooden dowels) cut at point just above soil. The subsequent dessication plants within this was followed comparing its reflectance emittance with control row. All reacted rapidly stress visible IR showing larger change than near-IR. Reflectance changes caused canopy geometry apparently greater those leaf physiological anatomical all but red band. increase attributed rapid decrease absorptance chloroplasts. As expected, radiometrically determined plant temperatures increased time after imposed.
