ETHNOBOTANICAL STUDIES ON SOME USEFUL HERBS OF HARAMOSH AND BUGROTE VALLEYS IN GILGIT, NORTHERN AREAS OF PAKISTAN

摘要: Field studies were made on the herbaceous medicinal plants of Haramosh and Bugrote valleys. Folk uses herbs in these valleys have helped people prevent cure various diseases such as rheumatism, asthma, diabetes, blood pressure, stomach problems, abdominal problems etc. The most common found region belong to families Labiatae, Compositae, Ranunculaceae, Umbelliferae Gentianaceae. In present paper 98 plant species are reported basis information gathered from local peoples both Out 21 cultivated 77 wild.
