摘要: Although Bangladesh is known as one of the poorest and most densely populated countries in world, qualitative research anecdotal evidence suggests its people report levels happiness that are higher than those found many other countries. This includes ‘developed’ where have larger per capita incomes can access a wider range public services goods. The paper explores this apparent paradox by analysing primary quantitative data, engaging with existing literature on objective wellbeing Bangladesh. data analysis presented makes an original timely contribution to limited knowledge we construction experience life satisfaction contexts extreme persistent economic poverty.
