摘要: We have investigated the levels of several antioxidant enzymes and level oxidative DNA base damage in lymphocytes children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) disease-free children. Children ALL had just been diagnosed disease received no therapy prior to obtaining blood samples. A multitude typical hydroxyl radical-induced lesions lymphocyte were identified quantified by gas chromatography-isotope dilution mass spectrometry. Higher observed patients than without disease. The glutathione peroxidase, catalase superoxide dismutase lower controls. These findings are agreement earlier observations various types adulthood cancer. Some known possess premutagenic properties may play a role carcinogenesis. results indicate possible link between decreased activities increased due damage, support notion that free radical reactions be malignant cells.
