摘要: Tungsten-based coatings have potential application in the plasma-facing components future nuclear fusion reactors. By combination of refractory tungsten with highly thermal conducting copper, or steel as a construction material, functionally graded can be easily obtained by plasma spraying, and may result development material favorable properties. During spraying these materials open atmosphere, oxidation is an important issue, which could adverse effects on their Among means to control it inert gas shrouding, forms subject this study represents lower-cost alternative vacuum low-pressure potentially applicable also for large surfaces spacious components. It continuation recent studies focused various parameters hybrid water-argon torch in-flight behavior copper powders resultant coatings. In current study, argon shrouding configurations shroud was applied. The parameters, such power flow rate, powder morphology were investigated. Their influence particle well structure, composition properties quantified. With help auxiliary calculations, mass changes particles, associated evaporation, assessed.
