摘要: The probable tectonic history of Mercury and the relative sequence events are discussed on basis data collected by Mariner-10 spacecraft. Results indicate that Mercury's activity was confined to its early history; endogenic principally due a small change in shape lithosphere, caused tidal despinning, area shrinkage cooling. Exogenic processes, particular impact activity, have produced more abundant features. Many features associated with Caloris basin loading thick lithosphere extrusive lavas or subsidence magma withdrawal. It is emphasized observed yield insight into earliest planets like Mars and, perhaps, earth, where subsequent obscured erased most ancient records.
