摘要: Abstract We conducted an experiment ( N  = 2675) including both laboratory and online participants to test hypotheses regarding important system estimator variables for eyewitness identification. Simultaneous lineups were compared sequential with the suspect presented early versus late because there is evidence that position could be factor determining a simultaneous advantage in guilty-innocent discriminability. also manipulated whether or not perpetrator held weapon had distinctive feature on his face, re-evaluate recent these factors interact. Overall, lineup yielded higher discriminability than lineup, was no effect of position. Discriminability when weapon, but only present. conclude discussion importance exploring interactions between using Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) analysis.
