摘要: Abstract The present paper provides on one hand, a literature review of the different studies available in scientific where concept multiple phase change materials (PCM) configuration, also named cascaded or multi-stage, has been presented and other an experimental evaluation advantages using PCM configuration instead single thermal energy storage (TES) systems at pilot plant to fill gap high scales this literature. Two with melting temperatures temperature range 150–200 °C were selected due their value heat fusion compared: d-mannitol hydroquinone. Three configurations evaluated: (1) hydroquinone, (2) (3) hydroquinone d-mannitol. A discussion regarding results specific stored effectiveness as well evolution transfer fluid (HTF) through time representative locations facility is presented. Results showed that PCMs introduced enhancement 19.36% if compared higher uniformity HTF difference between inlet outlet.
