摘要: This paper describes the world oil shale scene in mid 2009 and evaluates prospects to 2020. The volatility of conventional prices during 2007 2008 assertions about a forthcoming depletion competing fossil fuels have revived interest shale. National expansion plans which recognize as strategic local huge resource are reviewed contrasted with investor concerns future policies, rising cost, emergence new competitors tightened protection air, water land use.
