摘要: We investigated the marked morphological changes of α-Fe2O3 nanocrystals from nanoplates to nanospindles via an environmentally friendly hydrothermal route. An aqueous Fe salt was used as precursor and volume ratio ammonia ethylene glycol varied. The product uniform obtained at a high yield. By simply increasing phase, morphology could be continuously tuned with (001) facets gradually disappearing. A fundamental understanding shape evolution series characterizations including X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy transmission microscopy. NO3− ions NH3 molecules played vital parts increased temperatures, not only in phase structure iron oxide, but also formation different hematite morphologies properties. decrease photocatalytic efficiency visible region change under same conditions indicated that increase number exposed promoted performance. magnetic electrochemical properties typical were showed potential applications nanostructures various fields.
