摘要: Abstract Carabids, a species rich arthropod family, potentially contribute much to biodiversity in agroecosystems, but assessing and monitoring carabid diversity is costly time consuming. Therefore, this study aimed at finding more easily measurable parameters indicating high within organic conventional management systems. Cover number of weed as well activity density single total carabids were investigated potential indicators richness. The was carried out near Reckenfeld Westphalia on sandy Plaggenesch soils. Three organically four conventionally managed fields (cereals corn) the field margins centres from April August 1999. Additionally, data catches flora winter cereals an extended Duren (Northrhine-Westphalia) reanalysed validate results. However, neither showed consistently significant positive correlation with diversity. This partly attributed low variability conditions systems studies presented.
