摘要: This paper discusses the optimization of display function an image with respect to properties human eye/brain system. The minimizes contrast information loss through display/human observer system and is based on threshold curve or just noticeable differences, JND, which one can acquire by psychophysical experiments physical measurements. It was found that, given luminance dynamic range system, optimum inverse scaled visual response approximately independent absolute values contrast. In particular, in good approximation, spatial frequencies displayed image. With analytical model curve, it shown how perceived depends factors such as device noise, internal scatter maximum luminance. employed a CRT monitor. Preliminary results indicate that improvement overall resolution clinical images be achieved compared operating its original function. guarantees utilization transfer capabilities uniformly over available range. Its suitability standard for displays reiterated.
