摘要: Introduction Several systemic autoimmune diseases are associated with an increased prevalence of atherosclerosis which could not be explained by traditional risk factors alone. In sclerosis (SSc), microvascular abnormalities well recognized. Previous studies have suggested macrovascular disease as well. We compared patients SSc to healthy controls for signs early measuring intima-media thickness (IMT) the common carotid artery in relation and markers endothelial activation.
