摘要: ObJEctIVE: the aim of this study was to search for a possible association low bone mineral density (bMD) with PvuII and XbaI polymorphisms estrogen receptor (Er) gene in bulgarian women. DEsIGN: 400 women participated study. bMD mea sured at lumbar spine, femoral neck distal forearm. two groups were identified: normal both central sites (n=180) either site (n=220), designated as (NbMD) (LbMD) groups, respectively. genotype frequencies PP, Pp, pp XX, Xx, xx investigated by Pcr enzymatic digestion products XbaI. rEsULts: 12% 59% Pp 29% genotypes NbMD, 26%, 50% 24% LbMD 14%, 63% 23% 33%, 17% various significantly associated bMD. relative risk higher marker ( rr=1.51) than rr=1.35). between under described an etiological factor 0.28 0.20 marker. cONcLUsIONs: specific Er are all measurement female population. they might therefore become useful genetic markers osteoporosis assessment
