Physical Activity during the First Lockdown of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Investigating the Reliance on Digital Technologies, Perceived Benefits, Barriers and the Impact of Affect.

摘要: The measures to fight the spread of COVID-19 pandemic have been concentrated on inviting people stay at home. This has reduced opportunities exercise while also shedding some light importance physical health. Based an online survey, this paper investigated activity behaviours a Belgians sample (n = 427) during lockdown period between end May 2020 and beginning June found that, period, gap sufficiently insufficiently active individuals widened even more. analysed important moderators behaviours, such as barriers benefits exercise, digital support used individuals’ emotional well-being. Descriptive analysis analyses variance indicated generally, significantly increased their engagement in especially light- moderate-intensity activities, mostly accepted listed but refused barriers, did not score high any affective measures. A comparison showed that former engaged more activity, whereas latter exercised equally (i.e., enough) or less compared before lockdown. By means logistic regression, five key factors belonging group were revealed discussed. Practical implications for government policies are reviewed.
