Incorruptible system self-cleansing for intrusion tolerance

摘要: Despite the increased focus on security, critical information systems remain vulnerable to cyber attacks. The problem stems in large part from constant innovation and evolution of attack techniques. trend leads importance concept intrusion tolerance a system must fend off or at least limit damage caused by unknown and/or undetected In prior work, we developed self-cleansing (SCIT) architecture that achieves above goal constantly cleansing servers rotating rule individual servers. this paper, show that, with simple hardware enhancements strategically placed SCIT system, incorruptible containment can be realized. We then present an design for use one most infrastructures Internet, domain name services. It is our belief as presented here constitutes new, effective layer defense system.
