摘要: Four cases of extranodal malignant lymphoma, one each arising in the stomach, salivary gland, lung, and thyroid, are described. These have many clinical, histopathologic, immunohistochemical features common, it is proposed that this because they share a common pattern histogenesis from mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT). Clinical MALT-derived lymphomas include tendency to remain localized for prolonged periods, and, thus, be responsive locally directed therapy. Histologically, group tumors characterized by noninvasive lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate within which foci follicle center cells (FCC) can seen invading epithelial structures, forming lesions. Immunohistochemistry reveals monotypic cytoplasmic immunoglobulin (CIg) plasma serving highlight CIg-negative lymphoepithelial The clinical histopathologic these understood context behavioral characteristics morphology MALT.
