Luminescent properties and energy transfer process of Sm3+-Eu3+ co-doped MY2(MoO4)4 (M=Ca, Sr and Ba) red-emitting phosphors

摘要: Abstract MY 2 (MoO 4 ) :Sm 3+ and :xSm ,yEu (M=Ca, Sr Ba) phosphors were successfully prepared using solid-state reaction route, their luminescent properties energy transfer process from Sm to Eu systematically investigated. The results indicate that can be effectively excited by 407 nm near UV light originating the 6 H 5/2  →  F 7/2 transition of , exhibit a satisfactory red emission at 646 nm attributed G 9/2 in which intensity SrY is strongest among phosphors. For co-doped samples, with increasing doping content, main peaks (approximately 646 nm) are decreased, but increased while maximum luminescence concentration 0.9. introduction remarkably generate strong line 616 nm, 5 D 0 → 7 ( effective process. mechanism was discussed detail.
