摘要: Forming intimate emotional and sexual relationships is a highly meaningful aspect of human life. In the process creating such relationships, individuals inevitably reveal themselves – their personal histories, identities, emotions, thoughts, bodies. Yet for cancer patients survivors, disclosures are complicated by effects cancer. For survivors not involved in established committed dating disclosure becomes new uncharted territory marked uncertainty. Negative feelings about bodies sexuality, discomfort communicating cancer, fear negative reactions to may lead some avoid or remain unsatisfying ones rather than risk telling potential partners Such issues feel deprived fulfilling companionship, support, relations with partner.
