摘要: With the integration of renewable energy sources and large-scale smart buildings, electricity grid becomes more prone to instabilities due unexpected fluctuations in consumption. Data centers are a type building because their innate automation controllable load. Load controlling data has been studied extensively with scheduling/migration, peak power shaving, load shifting, etc. However, previous studies have not considered how changes center consumption may impact stability electric grid. This paper first shows that well-known management mechanisms lead voltage instability We propose new method considers both workload performance constraints minimizes instability-causing effects on Our simulation show our policy can preserve 97% time reduces maximum observed by 27%, while effectively managing performance.
