摘要: Abstract Soil cores were collected from soils at five sites in Tianjin area for the determination of hexachlorocyclohexane isomers (HCHs, including α-HCH, β-HCH, γ-HCH and δ-HCH), dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane metabolites (DDXs, p,p′-DDT, p,p′-DDE p,p′-DDD) total organic carbon (TOC). The levels vertical distributions HCHs DDXs are studied. Results show that application pesticides past years was major contributor accumulation sampling areas. Significant positive correlations seen between residual amounts DDXs. Wastewater irrigation did not bring a significant contribution or into soils. concentrations peak surface decline soil profile with depth, while fluctuations observed plow layers some cultivated caused by frequent cultivation activities batch irrigation. Positive contents TOC DDTs. Although all larger than DDXs, near most sites, ∑HCHs lower ∑DDXs. composition applied sampled indicates there is no recent DDT input sample
