摘要: A planter is moved through a field to place two rows of four plants on the top planting bed between adjacent irrigation furrows. The tray carrying transplants registered horizontally and vertically plug receiving cylinder by respective cams supporting chain. Upon registry, polymer plugs containing sprouted therein are ejected, typically eight at time, ejecting fingers penetrating plant holes. Ejection occurs with disposed into concavities defined within rotating cylinder. Rotation drops ejected funnels, one for each plant. Plant downward travel halts reciprocating plate. Insertion ground begins penetration dibble spike followed circumscribing tube around spike. When withdrawn, reciprocated registry blown under pressure down bottom tube. With air applied, retracted, leaving in its wake.
