Naked eye and spectrophotometric detection of chromogenic insecticide in aquaculture using amine functionalized gold nanoparticles in the presence of major interferents

摘要: Detection of a chromogenic insecticide, malachite green (MG) using 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-triazole capped gold nanoparticles (DAT-AuNPs) by both naked eye and spectrophotometry was described in this paper. The DAT-AuNPs were prepared wet chemical method show absorption maximum at 518nm. zeta potential found to be -39.9mV, suggesting that one the amine groups DAT adsorbed on surface AuNPs other group stabilizes from aggregation. wine red color changes violet while adding 25μM MG whereas band 518nm increased shifted towards longer wavelength. However, addition 70μM leads aggregation DAT-AuNPs. This is due strong electrostatic interaction between ammonium ion free DAT. Based change shift SPR band, 25 5μM can easily detected spectrophotometry. high selectivity even presence 5000-fold higher concentrations common interferents. practical application successfully demonstrated determining fish farm water.
