摘要: The seismic performance of beam–column connections and joints can be enhanced by using improved details in the joint ensuring a strong connection behavior. However, specific provision to evaluate quantitatively increased bar–concrete bond shear strengths is not given current design codes. In present study, cyclic loading tests were performed for which detailing was placing additional 45 bent bars 90 hooked bars. test results showed that despite small hc/db values, details, bond–slip beam flexural diagonal cracking substantially decreased joint. To address beam-column joints, resistance strength redefined considering addition, relationship between parameter energy dissipation capacity proposed. On basis results, considerations with recommended.
