摘要: In an integrated steel mill, the byproduct gases of production processes can be recovered as fuel for plant itself and used to generate electricity steam in power plants. This work addresses development a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model solve problem distribution, with goal maximizing energy utilization. Improvements are made formulation heuristic procedure is proposed assign appropriate weights objective function penalties, resulting increase operational performance distribution system. Through case studies, comparison performed among previous MILP-based optimization found literature, improved one this real-world behavior system run by operators without aid computational tool.
