摘要: Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum Cum Alumine (PRPCA) is useful for eliminating dampness and phlegm in clinical settings, targeting the main mechanisms of insomnia as defined traditional Chinese medicine. However, little known regarding sedative hypnotic effects PRPCA. In present study, we examined PRPCA via a locomotor activity test aimed to determine most appropriate concentration achieving these effects. The strongest were observed at 0.45 g/ml. addition, investigated its role promoting sleep monitoring vigilance state analysis. increased rapid eye movement (REM) non-REM (NREM) while decreasing wakefulness. decreased number bouts wakefulness (16–32 s 32–64 s) NREM (128–256 s). Furthermore, identified total 32 component compounds chromatography mass spectrometry. Hence, current work provides valuable information regulatory sleep.
