摘要: Abstract In this report, we have investigated factors contributing to the morphology and template recognition of bupivacaine-imprinted copolymers methacrylic acid (MAA) ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA). To end, MAA, most commonly used functional monomer in non-covalent molecular imprinting protocols, was compared contrasted with closely related acrylic (AA) terms polymer morphologies, characteristics, level events corresponding pre-polymerization mixtures. Two series analogous EGDMA-copolymers containing increasing fractions either AA or MAA were studied through all-component MD simulations phase, equilibrium binding experiments on synthesized polymers characterization by N2-sorption measurements. A higher degree hydrogen bonding frequency between respective bupivacaine recorded for mixtures those MAA. contrast, results from demonstrated capacities prepared than AA, which is explained differences morphology. The surface areas pore volumes AA-polymers MAA-polymers overall structure ink-bottle shaped while pores slit-shaped. We suggest that methyl substituent contributes reaction kinetics during polymerization resulted different particular shape, affected mass-transfer consequently qualities materials.
