摘要: To provide baseline parasitological data for health surveillance in free-ranging Alpine ibex (Capra ibex), we assessed the endoparasite population and level of parasitism apparently healthy ibex. Faecal samples from 148 were collected between 2006 2008 two different Swiss colonies. They analysed by coprology, including combined sedimentation/flotation method, sedimentation Baermann funnel technique Ziehl-Neelsen staining. Gastrointestinal parasites lungworms identified 100% 81.8% examined animals, respectively. Highest prevalences recorded gastrointestinal strongylids other than Nematodirus/Marshallagia spp. (100%), Eimeria Muellerius (79.8%) (79.0%). We report first time Cryptosporidium sp. Cystocaulus Switzerland. On average, infected with 3.9 taxa (range: 1-8). Parasite prevalence diversity varied significantly sexes, study sites seasons. egg output was low 95.7% moderate 5.3% samples. Overall, results indicate that are widely endoparasites suggest multiple infections very common populations. Furthermore, our underline potential influence factors such as sex, site season on findings.
