Video disc encoding and decoding system providing intra-field track error correction

摘要: Video disc track numbers are conveyed during each video line by means of a tri-phase modulation data carrier recorded along with the picture and sound carriers on disc. Upon playback, sequence is processed to identify tracking errors occurring within field thereby enable immediate correction line-by-line basis thus minimizing interruptions caused intra-field errors.
