摘要: Coronary artery dissection is a rare cause of acute coronary syndrome. Most cases occur in women during the peripartum period, most likely influenced by hormonal changes, hemodynamic stress and modifications immune system pregnancy. The pathogenesis unknown, hence numerous theories have been postulated such as pregnancy-related conditions, presence connective tissue disorders, trauma, etc. clinical presentation ranges from asymptomatic patients to whole spectrum syndrome manifestations. management these requires multidisciplinary approach, with two options: medical therapy or an invasive percutaneous intervention bypass graft surgery. choice treatment options depends on status patient, extension myocardial territory at risk. In this case report we present 38-year-old female who had seven days postpartum. catheterization showed left main that extended until circumflex artery. An intra-aortic balloon pump was installed patient then underwent surgery, satisfactory results.
