摘要: The phrenic nucleus of the adult albino rat was studied by utilizing O-dianisidine method for retrograde transport horseradish peroxidase in conjunction with zinc chromate modification Golgi technique. Application HRP to transected nerve neck labeled a column motor neurons from C3 C5 ipsilateral spinal cord. However, when applied intrathoracically, were found C6. long axis oriented tangentially rostral caudal poles. There gradual shift posterior anterior and lateral medial positions ventral horn. material also used localize impregnated sections provide quantitative data on neurons. In Golgi-impregnated two types distinguished basis dendritic morphology orientation. These designated (1) large smooth, radially dendrites, (2) smaller varicose, dendrites. Both had small number spines bulbous appendages issuing trunks branches. fields adjacent overlapped extensively one another dendrites more distally placed horn peroxidase-labeled sagittal primarily rostrocaudal plane. mean total 415.75 +/- 18.36 cells. diameter cell bodies 34.5 micrometers. frontal 22.5 Thus, direct measurement, 34% longer plane than present study each contributed fibers only nerve, no evidence peripheral crossing found.
