摘要: Abstract Biodiesel comprises fatty acid esters and is used as an alternative fuel for diesel engines. However, biodiesel has poor cold flow properties (i.e., CP, CFPP PP) than mineral fuel. This study aims to reduce the PP, CP of coconut (CB) blends using poly(methyl acrylate) (PMA) additives investigate their effects on single-cylinder four-stroke engine performance exhaust gas emission. DSC TGA were observe crystal behavior thermal stability blends. Engine emission analyzed by Dynomax-2000 software analyzer, respectively. Results showed that 20% CB blended with 0.03 wt% PMA significant improvement in CP. Other B20 met requirements ASTM D6751. The BSFC was reduced 3.247%, whereas BTE increased 2.16%, compared those B20. Burning NO 2.15%, HC, CO smoke emissions 19.81%, 13.35% 3.93% lower B20, Therefore, CB20 blend can be regions without compromising quality.
