摘要: Abstract The pattern of lymphocyte growth from endomyocardial biopsies in 55 heart transplant recipients was shown to be correlated with the subsequent development graft coronary disease. Persistent observed 39 patients, and 15 these growers (or 41%) developed In contrast, only 1 patients 6%) nongrower showed Thus, biopsy associated a higher incidence GCD ( p =0.02). A comparison between group disease 24 without did not show any differences respect patient age, presence artery native heart, histology, donor alloreactivity grown lymphocytes, immunosuppressive drug regimen. On other hand, number treated rejection episodes significantly lower grower =0.04). These data support concept that may involve more immunosuppression its incidence. This is strengthened by findings showing alloreactive T cells can propagated arteries cardiac allografts
