摘要: As part of a group contribution study on the liquid thermal conductivity synthetic fuel components, experiments were performed to effects dimethyl and ethyl-group additions cyclohexane. A transient hot-wire apparatus was used measure these three fluids between ambient pressure 10.4 MPa over temperature range 300 460 K. Thermal conductivities measured with this instrument have been assigned an accuracy ±2% based upon standard deviation comparison toluene established by Nieto de Castro et al. (1986). The excess naphthenes investigated successfully linearized plotting data versus reduced density exponentiated power five. By using previously reported Perkins (1983) Li (1984), linear method is demonstrated for methyl, dimethyl, ethyl cyclohexane, as well methyl benzene. shown similar intercepts, slope changes dependent functional attached aromatics less pronounced change additional groups benzene base. This also determine heat capacities, via diffusivity, within ±10%.
