摘要: This chapter explores the nature of any relationship between ethics and arts. At one time, dominant position in philosophy art was that there no relationship. Aesthetics were seen as autonomous spheres. The various ‘new moralists’ argue that, some circumstances, is a Noel Carroll Berys Gaut, for example, moral ‘flaws’ works may detract from work’s aesthetic value, while others, such Daniel Jacobson Matthew Kieran, counter morally reprehensible quality work contribute positively to its value. Although polarities are reversed, both these positions accept is—or be—a morality aesthetics.
