摘要: Luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating (FSH), prolactin (hPRL) and testosterone (T) were assayed in a total of 131 patients with peptic ulcer. Initial oral treatment was performed 1000 mg cimetidine per day for 6 to 12 weeks. After healing confirmed endoscopically, the switched maintenance dose 400 3 years. Serum levels before during two regimens estimated 48 male, 22 postmenopausal 5 premenopausal subjects. Comparison between doses possible 76 44 patients. In all parameters therapy within normal ranges. FSH noted increase significantly but group remained range. contrast, hPRL declined groups subjects except females treatment. LH T did not change no differences serum regimens. Present data combine suggest that an initial provoke hyperprolactinemia, switch from high cause further changes levels. Changes LH, FSH, recorded present study are too small be considered responsible endocrine disorders observed therapy.
