摘要: A linear theory of the excitation electromagnetic waves in a plasma-filled corrugated-wall waveguide with an arbitrarily large sinusoidal corrugation has been derived and analyzed numerically. The predicts that, when driven by electron beam, presence plasma slow wave structure will cause increase oscillation frequency, that temporal growth rates high-frequency mode approach those fundamental for high densities. latter result may account modes observed authors' backward-wave oscillator. >
