摘要: Any kind of decrease or inefficiency corn leaves caused by factors such as pests, diseases, mechanical damages and hail, leads to photo-assimilate translocation the kernels yield decrease. In order investigate role each part maize canopy on component, grain quality, an experiment was conducted in a factorial using randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications at Research Farm faculty agriculture, Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran, during year 2007. cultivars were single cross 647, 604, 504 defoliation treatments contain leaf removal 1/3 upper, median, lower control (without defoliation) that imposed tasseling. The results indicated while had significant effects components (except number row per cob 100 weight ), unit area, well ear length area index (LAI), quality produced grains levels including protein percent oil did not differ considerably. maximum LAI belonged least middle canopy. this study affected mean weight. Since no impact stem dry so it is concluded especially median have crucial photosynthesis yield.
