摘要: Glucose homeostasis in all vertebrates involves the integration of a number metabolic processes that are under hormonal control. A key element this process is hepatic and renal gluconeogenesis, which provides major source blood glucose during starvation.(1) Tissues such as red cells, brain, kidney medulla metabolically dependent on continued glucose, fact underlines importance proper regulation gluconeogenesis for survival organism. It not therefore surprising hormones, including insulin, glucagon, glucocorticoids, thyroid hormone, play role coordinating by controlling gluconeogenesis.
