摘要: The species Cymbopogon winterianus Jowitt is believed to have originated from the well-known nardus, type Maha Pengiri, referred as Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) commercial citronella. was named after Winter, who raised its population a separate in 19th century. C. introduced into Indonesia and became commercially known Javanese material India for cultivation of this crop during 1959. Varieties been developed later by use breeding procedures same material. A comparative analysis yields herb, oil percentage constituents eight prevalent cultivars comparing them between themselves well against an accession nardus has carried out. All these accessions were analyzed at molecular level similarity genetic distances through RAPD profiling, using 20 random primers. More than 50% divergence observed all relation CN2. clustering based on matrices showed major cluster six accessions, consisting two sub-clusters. CN2 got carved out along with CW2 CW6. On other hand, CW6 demonstrated distinct identities compared DNA level.
