摘要: Key aspects of the microenvironment surrounding Fe center in nitrosyl adduct iron phthalocyanine, [Fe(Pc)(NO)], have been elucidated from analysis K-edge extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) material adsorbed on surface a high area carbon electrode recorded situ, 0.5 M H(2)SO(4). Statistical best fits to EXAFS data place five-coordinated square pyramidal configuration shifted away Pc plane toward axially bound NO bent at an angle ca. 40 degrees with respect normal plane. This environment is analogous that crystalline [Fe(TPP)], where TPP = meso-tetraphenylporphyrinato(2-), determined diffraction.
