摘要: Background: A great number of studies have reported on the temporal branch anatomy and its relationship to fascial layers various fat pads region, but no article has included information nerve retro-orbicularis oculi (ROOF) and/or suborbicularis (SOOF). Objectives: The authors report results a series human cadaver dissections, with particular attention paid relation ROOF SOOF. literature review subsequent open browlift are also confirm study. Methods: Dissection was performed 15 fresh cadavers, for total 29 hemifaces. course relationships fascia, pads, landmarks in region were noted detailed. thorough 23 articles, compare author’s anatomical findings data previous literature. Results: During dissection, found lie undersurface superficial fascia. In supraorbital area, existed loose areolar plane or deep layer directly it. passed lateral SOOF superiomedial at level zygoma. These later confirmed during an vivo as well. Conclusions: formerly unrecognized important sentinel marker possible injury browlift. However, this study accompanying comparisons show that whether endoscopic open, should aim keep plane, ensuring is safe from iatrogenic injury.
